Boudin Sourdough Bakery and Cafe

After we left Musée Mécanique, we turned the corner and saw the sign for Boudin.  I am a huge fan of sourdough bread, and the thought of eating fresh San Francisco Boudin sourdough was too exciting to pass up.  We had to have it for lunch.

Upstairs was their museum and Bistro Boudin, where there was a bar and a nice sit down restaurant.  It had a gorgeous view of the ocean.  Downstairs was the bakery, where they sold cookbooks, teas, official merchandise, and of course their famous sourdough bread.  The line was really long, but the people behind the counter moved fast, so the wait wasn’t too bad.
