After our very long day running around Sacramento, we decided to head back to our hotel and have dinner on the Delta King.

The Delta King has 2 separate dining options available: Pilothouse which is their sit down restaurant and Delta Bar and Grill which is more casual.  Since we were in the mood for something quick and relaxed, we decided to tryout their bar.

After our cheeseburger from Squeeze Inn, we decided to hit up Yelp again and see what was nearby.  We saw that the California’s Governor’s Mansion was only a 5 minute walk, so we left the car where we parked and went on our way.

Squeeze Inn Mushroom Burger

After leaving Capitol Park, we decided to Yelp and see what was nearby that had good reviews.  We came across Squeeze Inn that had a ton of very high ratings, and was also featured on Guy Fieri’s show Diners Drive-Ins and Dives on the Food Network.  Truth was, we weren’t very hungry, but figured we could share a burger, some fries, and check out the place.

California Capitol Park

After the tour, we headed outside to the California Capitol Park.  It rained intermittently, and the grounds were very wet, but we had an umbrella and were determined to check everything out.

The first statue we saw was The Hiker, created to commemorate the American soldiers who fought in the Spanish-American War, the Boxer Rebellion and the Filipino-American War.
